I am very grateful that my first day of Primary went so well. I wasn't sure what to expect and the first indication wasn't very favorable. Several of the kids were unhappy at the prospect of a new teacher. But by the time we were done with class the kids all seemed pretty happy. One of the girls, who spent most of the class saying, "Sister So-n-so always let me do ___," found me after church to give me a hug before she went home.
I'm grateful that Ray got brooms for the girls (he got them several days ago) and shortened the handles so they aren't dangerous (that he did today). The girls always try to take my broom when I'm sweeping, so if they have their own it is much nicer (in some ways).
