Praise

Today Jon told me that he and Dad had completed the entire level 4 on Lego Star Wars. I congratulated him with, "You guys did a really great job!" He responded, "No, we did a really awesome great job." I am glad that my kids let me know what they need to hear (and I really do mean it, even if I do laugh at them at times...). I love the looks on their faces when I repeat back the compliment they just fed me. Sometimes I wished it worked like that for adults. Wouldn't it be nice to always hear your strengths reinforced and weaknesses forgiven? I'm glad that Heavenly Father is a little bit like that with me. It's nice to know there's someone out there who appreciates me for exactly what I am right now, while recognizing my potential.
